St. Petersburg is the most European city in Russia. Founded by Pierre le Grand as a windowon the West, the ancient Petrograd displays throughout its palaces and magnificent prospects, all the annals of architectural eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

There is a lot of restaurants, and their quality has considerably improved in the last 5 years. Besides Russian food, foreign food is well represented with, among other specialized institutions in the Uzbek cuisine, Chinese, Indian, Italian or Japanese ... ideal for a romantic encounter but also to travel a little farther!
You can visit St. Petersburg no matter what the season is! Around the summer solstice, the night is limited to a brief drop in brightness around 1.am and dawn rises only two or three hours later. St. Petersburg's sleepless nights offer a spectacle as beautiful as disconcerting, even more opportunities to meet a Russian woman looking for a soul mate.
Two winter festivals are held on the outskirts of the city, one from December 25 to January 5, the other from late February to early March, marked by folk performances. Less known, the Christmas musical meetings are held during the week preceding Christmas.
In April or May, you can attend to the Spring Music Saint Petersburg devoted to classical music while Ritmy Osen, a jazz festival in full swing in mid-November in the city clubs. You can also meet beautiful Russian women.
